2070 super or 2080 super

You put those words in my mouth im trying to say decent cards are not in stock all the people you named are garbage inc the chancers MSI, Inno are budget also they are all offering budget cards with a crazy vulverable 2yr warranty.
Yeah I can see how I read that wrong, but I got confused when you said everything else is on pre order, when it is not.

Not sure why MSi are chancers? And a 2 year warranty is fine if your worried about RTX failures, they don't take long to happen, and what's a first gen rtx card going to be worth in 2 years time? Prolly nothing lol

MSI scammed me they sold me the GTX 580 oc model which had the bios messed up they had unstable cards at stock. They wanted me to RMA the card or flash myself i did neither and gave a discount on the resale to a guy. So i lost money as i wanted a quick card change they refused they said do the 28day RMA.

Goodluck on the mm with 2080 cards everyone knows they are ticking timebombs look at the 8800 GTX oven fix for example. By buying witg a 2yr warranty you basically promote and ask for fragile goods heck the sale of goods act stated 6yrs as a timeframe for a claim so it goes against the spirit of a fair consumer manufactuer relationship. They get the money which increases in value over time, You get a peice of silicon that degrades over time. They least they can do is back it up with a minimum of 5yrs.

Palit make great cards, with great cooling. The only reason I wouldn't buy an rtx palit card, is the failure rates vs sending the card back to Asia.

Other than that, there is no reason. Ive had a gtx 1070 and 1080 palit cards, both were great.

MSI may be better now than they were 8(?) years ago? RMA's are always a sticky subject, I've always had good experiences sending things back, but I would be very sad if it went wrong :(

If you won't buy a Palit, which are always going to be in stock, then good luck in getting a one. :p

EDIT:

Just seen theres 10+ of the very rare 70 Supers (unless Palit) in now (Gaming X-Trio), so get a shift on lads, before they're gone!

There are 2080's that are £660 that overclock very well. This is the same as a very good 2070 super in price. The same very overclockable 2080 super will be £800~.

The 2080 is still better than the 2070 super. The better 2070 supers are £630.

Do not buy a 2080 at £800 (get a 2080 super at that point) if you can get close to £650 maybe but it has to be a great overclocker. With the Zotac amp extreme RTX 2080 you will get over 2000MHz on the RAM and close to 2085MHz in games on the core (max fans). (Blessing be to the silicon lottery.) This is 12600~ time spy and 7200~ port royal for a 4930k cpu. Very close to a 2080 ti points wise.

£800 AIO versus £990 2080ti. Well the Ti will overclock also so the gap exists the same aa before you do 2000mhz. It also has 3gb ram 1300cuda cores more to clock and more bus width and bandwidth. This is for an extra £190.

Maybe they played us to make the Ti sell.

The £990 2080ti won't clock well so you end up spending more and more. I think that's the plan. Get people to buy at 2080 ti for £1200+. I don't think there are any games that use 11gb of vram. The cuda cores are nice. Anyway running a rtx 2080 at 2115MHz core and 2050MHz vram in destiny 2 @ 4k highest locked at 60hz seems good enough.
