'70 Challenger with a small-block. Money left over buys the parts to get the brakes up to snuff, racing seat and harness, 8.75" suregrip diff' if it doesn't already have one. Not the most obvious of choices I'll grant you, but at least I fit in Challengers better than I fit in Westfields :D

I would rather have a bike, wont cost 20k but im sure getting it to that price for parts and tunning would be fun

I'd have an Evo 9GT....... so I bought one :)

Castle Combe world record last year (pic is of the parade laps), did the track day earlier in the day - great track if you get the chance to drive it.

Other than that I'd say a Caterham would be good fun or some bike engined sequential jobby.

Most of what's already been posted looks good to me, hayabusa powered stuff etc.

I might be tempted by something along these lines

But would probably prefer something a bit more lightweight.

So after seeing whats available in this thread, who can honestly say they'd still take a Nova? ;)

And Iain, after all that nova bashing, that is the best car you can come up with?? A time bomb, slow NSX?? :)

What happens when you put it in the kitty litter and need a new wing etc? I think that might make a nice road car, but the for track I'd say it was too nice / too expensive.
