I agree with Nexus, I love my 29" LG and that was coming from a 24" 1080p.
The issue is going bigger in screen size really means going bigger in resolution otherwise I don't see the point! All relative I guess, I used to have a 20" NEC screen then 27 and 32" looked huge, same with TV's I have a 58" and now 40" TV's look tiny.

I was happy enough with the 24" vertically and now the 29" is as wide as my desk!Well 29" ultra wide isn't high enough vertically. 16:9 24" and UW 29" is the same, but 24" 16:10 is a fair bit taller.
I'd want it to keep it to same height as a 24"/27".
PPI depends on usage. Using the 50" 1080p plasma still looks excellent with the android box with browsing etc, much better than I would have thought.
I'd say for PC monitor though looking at about 95ppi, or more but that may mean you use scaling. ie if you have 4K 20" you would definietly need scaling. As long as window scaling works perfectly, which I'm not sure it does. But then you have problem of games.

Not much more than that, yes.You desk is 27 inch wide?

Sorry for the off topic, but how can you have a 70cm wide desk?
It's about all I have space for me n my computer room. It's an old cheap Argos flat pack thing with a roll out keyboard tray.Sorry for the off topic, but how can you have a 70cm wide desk?
