Thanks guys, bought the Iiyama ProLite E2201W-B1, the last one on ******... sweet.
Hey guys,
My birthday today (woo! go me!) and am going to get a new monitor. I think 24 is too much as I am sat about a foot away from my monitor, so I 22" is a good comprimise. I play games a lot (Call of Duty 4, Frontlines, CS:S), and code probably as much. My budget is around £250 - £300.
If your wondering why I'm not picking one myself is because I know jack-all about monitors so I just want someone will a decent knowledge of them to pick me one right for me.
Thanks in advance,
- Saul.
I'm a 226BW owner and i was not impressed at all! I'm now having to invest in a calibration tool (+- £50) to get the color right because Samsung presumably put one of their cheep as panels in what was supposed to be a half decent monitor. DO NOT BUY A 226BW if your not willing to run the risk of a sub-standard product.
The IIYAMA ProLite E2201W-B1 is what i should have brought. I would suggest you buy that.
beh*, didnt you RMA the Samsung?
I did request a refund, and it was within 7 days but instead of DSR, i RMA'ed it.Thats a shame, didnt you request a refund under the 7 day DSR?
If you are stuck with it, stick it on the bay you should get most if not all your money back!
I did request a refund, and it was within 7 days but they sent it back and charged me £15 for their 'trouble'![]()
...The Magic tune software doesn't install on mine...But the colours are fine.
Ever heard of changing colours on monitors by yourself? You have to do it on most TV related things nowadays anyways, so it's no different.
Unless the monitor literally does.not.work...Then theres nout wrong with the thing.
they have a 64bit version but it dosn't work for me.
lol i just sold my Iiyama and bought 226bw seen as it glossy and average 1.8 ms i hope i will not regret it fingers crossed
