I can't speak for the other 2, but i play CS:S, HL2 and CoD2 on this monitor without no problems what soever. I came from a 19" CRT. The colours are sharp, vibrant and crisp. There is no ghosting at all for me either.

Take a look at this thread it might answer some of your questions related to this:

Only real problem with TN is the viewing angles. I've briefly owned a few TN panel monitors and ended up sending them back partly due to this. The problem is mainly the vertical viewing angles. If you set the screen to a single colour, it will appear a noticeably different shade at the top and bottom of the screen on a TN panel. You can also see the colours shift as you move your head up and down even a few inches.

While I had my sammy 913B I found myself constantly adjusting the screen tilt every time I moved slightly in my chair. Since then I've owned two PVA and one IPS panel and they're much easier to live with. I should add though that for a lot of people the viewing angles on TN panels aren't a big deal. Maybe if I'd kept the screens longer I wouldn't have noticed it eventually.

If you're going with 22" TN though and you don't need 2 inputs, then I'd go with the Belinea if Gibbo reckons it's the best of the three.

I was thinking maybe should look at 20.1" too, i noticed this model

It says this about the screen Featuring the latest panel AU O offering unbeatable visual quality and performance

Now is this sort of screen far better than the TN(i know nowt about tft's), would love a 22" but maybe cutting down too a decent quality 20" but that has 8ms instead of 5ms on the 22" anyone clear this up.

That has an MVA panel, so it has better viewing angles and it should have better colour accuracy too. MVA is also supposed to offer a bit smoother movie playback than IPS/PVA too so it's a good all rounder.

mate speaking from experience, i went for the 2005fpw dell, it really is one of the best panels all round out there. get one second hand, or buy a new 2007fpw ....

analogue i have found to be rather annoying to set up colours and texts ....

a big plus is the connectivity of these dell's.

hope this helps you.

After talking to a pretty knowledgeable chap that was serving today, he advised me to get the Dell E207WFP 20", pretty good i goto say, bf2142 looks stunning.

One thing though i can't seem to see where the stand adjusts, has this model not got adjustable stand ?

That's got a TN panel btw, and the stand is more limited than the other Dells although I don't know exactly what it can/can't do. Doesn't matter at all that it's got a TN panel of course if you are happy with it, and if you got it from OcUK for £205 then it's an awesome price :)

Was £199 inc vat, yeah seems good i knew it had the same pannel type the viewing angle i can't see any probs with tbfh.
