Not AFAIK. They'll do the usual 4 hour season premier (we normally get 2 x 2 hours a week apart) and then the usual week in between hours.

The whole sacrifice thing in the trailer is kind of ruined by the fact that we all know he has signed on for another 3 seasons so he is obviously not going to die.
 
I doubt that many, if any of the fans genuinely expect him to be bumped off, but half the fun is seeing how he gets out of it, and who else gets a bullet instead.

24 has always had a number of subplots going, so im guessing none of us yet know what the main story might be this time round.
 
I just wonder why they trailer was in 4:3 when its aired in 16:9. I've noticed that in a lot of American programs. They were first to adopt widescreen but loads of their programs still use 4:3.

You're right. Season 6 should be about Chloe's day out to Six Flags.

it'd be awesome if that was just a cover story for this season and he actually gets bumped off :p he could have signed on to be a producer for the next 3 seasons
 
I think he might end up dead for real in this season, i can just feel it.

If he isn't then great, but i just have a real bad feeling. :(
 
They can't kill of kiefer, it's good to see other characters getting killed off. Like in season 5 with tony, michelle and edgar. I can't view the season 6 trailer at work because of a stupid proxy but i can't wait to get home and dive into my chair! bring on season 6!!!!

Wow, just watched the trailer.

Now I'm looking forward to it even more than before.

I can't see Jack actually being killed off - as someone else said we already know he's signed up for series 7 & 8 too (unless that's a rumour been put about to throw us off the scent...).

Jack is 24.

S6 looks awesome...
