Help my monitor has gone funny

Im getting purple or blue lines coming across my screen there like flickering, whats that mean, and what should i do about it.

Nope panic back again

It came back so i just tried restarting my pc and it went, does that mean theres no problem with the monitor but something else?

Maybe fatigue on either your monitors socket, your cards socket or the cable itself?

You using DVI or VGA?
