24" LCD Monitor for PC + PS3

I want to get a 24" LCD but not sure which one to buy; i was looking for one with DVI + HDMI ports for pc and ps3 for around £300-£400, any suggestions?

There are several options really.

Hyundai W240D-TN 24" .

This screen seems like a bargain at the price, but if you can stretch the budget the LG L245WP 24" is a very good screen.
Anyone else got some good suggestions?

I've heard some good things about the Hyundai 24" TN screen, unfortunately i don't own one myself so I can't really give you a personal opinion on it in regards to ps3 quality etc.

whats the difference between the Hyundai W240D-PVA and the Hyundai W240D-TN?

The pva has better viewing angles and better colours than the tn panel.

Thanks for that link i now have a better understanding, the TN panel has a better response time than the PVA but not as good colours/viewing angle. Anyone have any reviews/experience with the NEC AccuSync LCD24WMCX?

hi

i have the hyundai tn panel (w240d) and it is a very good monitor . its very stylish and has a lot of connections . the veiwing angles are a lot better on this than my old 19 inch . the only thing i dont like about it is the backlight bleed its quite bad but after a while you tend not to notice it . living next to a train line scenario .
would deffo recomend it. its great for looking on these forums in 90 degree rotate mode you can see so much more.

thanks for that, but i think i will notice the backlight bleed; now that you've brought it to my attention. The viewing angles wont bother me, i will only be looking at it from one angle anyways; head on.

gonna be getting the NEC LCD24WMCX soon, can anyone confirm that it has HDCP over HDMI, on the specs it only says over DVI

the viewing angles will bother you, especially the vertical ones.
