On the TFT Central review of the Asus PA248Q it mentions that PWM may be a problem for some people

From what I read, the Dell 2412 also uses PWM to control the backlight? I don't see any mention of it in the TFT Central review, so would that indicate it may be less of an issue (maybe the frequency is higher?) for the 2412?

It's only because at the time of the U2412M review we didn't test PWM so it's not included. It will use it but not sure on the frequency. Prob a similar level to the Asus tbh

I'm in the same boat, for year now I have been meaning to replace my trusty Dell 2405 as it does suffer from image retention but I have it calibrated nicely so have been reluctant to change it. Now I can't connect the new consoles to it I must change it

Are there any issues with the U2412M to look out for? I would consider the 27HM but the issues are putting me off and I can't be going through multiple screens. I have a calibration device.
