Hey

Just wanted to ask this regarding size and resolutions.

I notice a lot of 22" now offer 1920x1080 resolutions, and the majority of 24"s offer that same 1920x1080 resolution.

so my question is, would a 22" be better in the sense that it would be;
1) Clearer image
2) smaller physical size, but can still fit desktop workspace within the 22" as it would the 24"?

Trying to see if theres any plus point of a £30 increase?

Icons will appear smaller on the 22" screen but nothing serious, I had that resolution on my Studio 15 laptop and that worked. I suppose the £30 premium depends on how close you will sit to the monitor, how much space you have on your desk and if you will be sitting further away from it on occasions when watching DVDs for example.

Desktop real estate wise though, I could fit the same amount of windows on the 22" as the 24", just the 22" would appear smaller right?

lol, coming out of nowhere with a 27.5" :D

Yeah, same res, same window space. £30 for things a little bigger doesn't seem worth it to me, i use 22"s and they're fine.

For £30 trust me its much bigger :D

Actual viewable panel size (excluding the bezel on mine is)
24" wide
14" high
27.5" diagonal

It makes a huge difference as you get approx 15% more screen real estate so games/movies are more immersive ;) Remember its squared so not just 3.5" difference is it ;)

That £30 extra you get a lot of monitor & the price is stupid considering all you get in the box (extra cables etc etc).
