jus finished watching the first 12 eps of series 1 and gonna slow down on the next half n space them out over a few days. I deliberately held off watching the other series so I could watch them all in turn

Yea fantastic, hadn't ever watched it until this year, better half bought me the season 1-4 box set for Xmas and then moaned cos she didn't see me for 2 months!

I find it a bit boring, can't get into it. Kim Bauer should have been called "Frank Spencer" painful watching her scenes, going from scene to scene were her life is in danger/in dog poo.

I just did 24 Season 1-4 last week (Monday to Sunday), and it's still the best show ever!

Why do people keep saying you never see him eat/drink - he eats in S1 (when his family is safe and he's being debriefed), and drinks in S2 (when he's transporting Myers to the plane) :confused:

Also, apparently there's an American College drinking game where you drink a shot everytime Jack Bauer says "Dammit". Kiefer Sutherland heard about it and changed the script in one episode (dunno which

) to include 14 "Dammit"s

, it really is a good show but no one you can watch again for a good few years unfortunately. I enjoyed watching the first 2 seasons again on C2 a while ago, that then persuaded me to get the rest of the seasons.

Regards to the eating thing, who cares?, and i dont think he would have time to wait in the que at McDee's for a bacon double cheeseburger and largo fries when there is a nuclear bomb ticking away in LA.

He does, there are 3 5min gaps in between parts on every episode and not every scene is showing Jack either.

FACT OF THE DAY: In Season 5, the producers/directors filmed several things to address (for a joke) the things people say about him never sleeping/eating etc

ie. Jack coming out of the toilet, jack being in his pjamas, jack eating something

However it was eventually cut out of the final production!

At first I watched prison break, then I caught afew episodes of lost, both were really good, but I kept wondering what was this 24 people were talking about. Well, when I finally got round to seeing it, damn

blows every other tv series away. You must watch it from the beginning and watch the seasons in order, I now have every single episode on my hard drive

and im just waiting for season 6, brilliant series :cool:

On topic, 24 is awesome, probably my fav TV series of all time. Once you start watching a series it just sort of consumes you. I watched series 1 in a single sitting, series 2 over 2 days, series 3 in a single sitting and sadly series 4 over a few days. I can't wait for series 5 to come out on DVD. What do people think of S5 compaired to the other series? So far 4 has probably been the best, then 3 then 1 then 2.
