Hi there,

I understand that the 2407WFP-HC can display up to 92% of the NTSC colour gamut. How does this compare to the rest of the 24" monitors out there?

And does anyone happen to have a link to a comparison of the NTSC, sRGB and Adobe RGB colour spaces? Couldn't find one, but my searching skills (or lack of them) may be letting me down!

standard CCFL backlighting covers 72% of the NTSC colour space. Check the new sticky for a section about colour gamut with some CIE diagrams too ;)

Oh my, that's just a tad embarrassing.

Hadn't even seen it had been updated. I will read it and digest. And then buy a 2407WFP-HC.

Baddass; you're a gentleman and a scholar.

The 2407WFP-HC uses the combination of a new improved (W-CCFL) wide cold-cathode fluorescent backlight and a SAMSUNG S-PVA panel from the A04 / 245T to deliver 92% of the NTSC color gamut,

which is excellent news for photographers and video editors
