240GB SSD With Automatic Garbage Collection?

Given the prices of SSDs have dropped so much of late. I was seriously considering buying a 240GB SSD to chuck inside my Playstation 3.

I was thinking it would be useful given I have bought the PSN Plus yearly membership and will be downloading games to run off the hard drive.

One thing that worries me is the Garbage collection issue given the PS3 does not have Trim support. So would there be a drive with Auto Garbage collection so it would be usable with the PS3?

i doubt anything,trim or garbage collection would work without a windows operating system,i could be wrong but ssd's dont come with a driver cd its just plug and play

you might be better fitting a seagate momentus hybrid drive? that might work
