Did it take some time to adjust to the chair?

Replacing a noble chairs epic that have had for 8 years now.

Barely any to be honest. The biggest adjustment was no longer playing FPS games leant so far forward I was practically licking my monitor :D

Coming from a Noble, I'm not sure how much you'd miss the mega recline + headrest. You can get a headrest for the Embody but it's £££, and even at max it doesn't recline that much. It's not a perfect chair by any means but I tried a lot of the top ones when I got this (little over 3 years ago now) and I'm still very happy with my choice. It looks like it will easily last me the full 12 year warranty and given the amount of time I spend in it and how much better I feel in general working long hours in this vs everything else I've tried before it's absolute pennies to me over that sort of timescale.

Yeah seen the headrest I will likely pick one up if I get on with the chair, think it's a 6-7 week wait before it arrives sadly.

I’ve been keen to upgrade to something from HM, thinking Aeron or Embody but contacted them and seems like they only have the Embody in the London showroom. With the various sizes of the Aeron I’m going to wait until I can visit the showroom before making a decision. I realise people say you need to sit on them a long time to get a feel but its better then guessing online.

I have the embody and headrest; it's not that often that I end up using it, it's more of a nice to have.
If you're going tp get the chair I would wait and then see if you think you need the headrest.

Got a shipping email on the 13th dec so just waiting for Inplace to give me a delivery date, will see how it goes before ordering the headrest.

Update - delivery date 3rd Jan

Got the chair - really impressed with it.

No noises so far like some of the reviews suggest, really comfy - big step up from the racing seat style chairs.

Ordered the atlas headrest to go with it.
