Alrite guys I've decided to splash out on a new gaming pc but don't even know where to start so I'm hoping someone can recommend a system for me, I have a £2500 budget which must include the monitor.

Any advice very much appreciated

Cheers

Hi mate, I mainly want to use it for gaming to play all the top games but would also like to use it to watch movies.

I'm not very clued up on this as I've always been a console gamer so I have no idea where to start.

Don't really know much about overclocking too be honest

Cheers

Are any of the overclockers systems on there website worth buying?

I noticed they have a system configuration option where you can choose the components and they build it for you, would that be a better option for me?

I would love to try and build my own system but i have no experience at this and would be too worried about making a mistake and the system either not working or breaking down! Pre built systems tend to come with a warranty which would give me piece of mind especially when spending such a large chunk of cash on a system.

Maybes some time in the future when I am a bit more educated I could give this a try but for now I think a pre built system is the direction I need to go. :)

What is a watercooled system? Sorry for all the dumb questions I'm just trying to learn as much as I can from you guys before I make my purchase :)

I think this is the one I will go for

"Ultima 9550i Tyrannosaur MKIII" Intel Core i7 3770K 3.50GHz @ 4.50GHz DDR3 Quad Core Ivybridge Nvidia GTX 680 System

What size SSD should I choose with this?

Also will the 7.1 on board sound card be any good for gaming and movies or should I ask them to upgrade the card for me?

what would be the best soundcard for gaming, movies and music? i came across these ones on the overclockers website

Creative Sound Blaster Recon3D Fatal1ty Champion Sound Card

Creative Sound Blaster Recon3D Fatal1ty Professional Soundcard

what about this setup or are some of the components a bit overkill?

if I spent £2500 on a machine and it only had a 24" screen I'd be peeved

£2500 is too much to spend on cpu/ram/motherboard etc... spend a bit less like £1500-£2000 and spend the additional cash on a top end monitor (or even three) some quality speakers, headset, microphone etc

i chose that monitor as it has fantastic reviews!

What would be your choice of monitor instead?
