2500K Load Line Callibration

Stulid was running later drivers for this board that I believe supported Ivy processors but did something to the V control meaning the Sandy would OC as well so he flashed it back to the original (F1?) BIOS to suit my 2500K, does that make sense?

yeah that's fine the f6 one

I dunno why it keeps stuttering though

you could try 1.06v cpu/vtt see if that cures it,if not try 1.08v (that's for the integrated memory controller)

1.08v and it's doing it :(
Here's a screen shot- this was just after 20 minutes browsing on the internet whenit started doing it.

Have you tried taking the GPU out and running on the 2500's graphics? Just to rule out the GPU and driver shiz.

Also, have you tried a fresh install on a spare drive or some such?

Sure does, I have the same CPU and Mainboard, you should see a HDMI port round the back, that was the point of the Z68 boards, to allow overclocking and to allow the use of the CPU's GPU.

Take your GPU out and run off the onboard graphics first bud.

If you have been mixing AMD and NVIDIA drivers you might be having some clashes, but I've never really experienced that because I go for a fresh install when swapping makes. On those fresh installs I start without a GPU and run on the onboard, then install the GPU drivers and then disable/unistall the onboard drivers.

Edit: Did you do a fresh install when you got the cpu and MB or did you just plug in your old drives and it 'worked'?

Double edit: If you are using afterburner make sure you have 'Enable Graphics Overdrive' UNticked in CCC as an aside also :)

Ok I'll try the OB graphics.

I bought the 2500k along with the mainboard and an SSD all at once and did a fresh install of windows and all of my programs and downloaded the drivers perhaps 2 months ago so the only drivers are the drivers for this mobo and GPU.

Any ideas as to why the GPU usage is spiking like that for no reason? Does that signify anything in particular?
