I'm overclocking my 2500k, I've got it to 4.6Ghz and running a prime blend test.
I have core temp open and it says that it's drawing 99 watts I was just wondering if this is safe as a 2500K has a TDP of 95 watts.
Yeah, well I thought that didn't need to be pointed out as it's day one basics for overclockers. High voltage leads to high temps. Bad cooling leads to high temps. Poor air flow leads to high temps etc. Basically, just monitor your temps.
