256ssd anytime soon?

hi guys well decided i want an ssd for my macbook pro but needs to be at lease 250gb as thats what i have there in the mo

any one got any info on a normal priced 250gb+ ssd for laptops??

yer i saw them tempted but would mean cutting down hard drive space a lot so dont know just yet i guess can stick 250 in usb hub thing and do it that way but would like everything inside.

also is there a realise date for them drives?

why do you "need" an SSD?

I think it'll be lovely when they come along at a sensible price but I can more than wait.

well i was going to get a netbook but decided when i have my macbook pro its a wast of money so was thinking about an ssd for macbook yet the price is high but it will be really nice for the extra speed for photoshop and final cut pro work i have to do at uni

and as there is nothing more i can add to the macbook as it had 4gb of ram and cant fit a faster cpu the only way to make it run faster is the hard drive i have a 7200 already so want something faster than that
