26/27" LCD need

If you want a high quality lcd I would avoid AOC and get the Samsung LE23R87BDX, Sammys new series are pretty much the best lcd tvs at the moment.

Yup by people who haven't experienced anything better or don't know much about tv's, hell I'd imagine most people were running them on default settings and thinking how wonderfully bright and colourful they look.... If you look on most websites you'll find even goodmans tvs get 5 star customer reviews. I personally have a samsung and have been able to compare it with cheaper makes such as mirari.

What are the speakers like on this?
I have the LE32N73 in the living room, which has pretty poor speakers but that doesn't matter because everything goes through my amp.
Looking at a decent <28" HDTV for under £350 for the bedroom for gaming while the missus is watching rubbish on TV.

The speakers don't need to be great as the bedroom is small but the higher quality the better obviously.

Lousy. Place a set of in the earphones onto a desk, step back 6'...that's how the Samsung speakers sound.

Spend £100 on a set of quality PC speakers and use them instead.
