Is their a chance i can get a monitor around 24" that is fairly decent for gaming, i dont want to spend too much really, as i'm buying an entire new computer at the end of the month. I'm after 1080p resolution, i mostly will use for games/movies, and my budget is £250.

As you can see my current monitor is just too low resolution to be honest, thats the only reason i'm changing it, i do like the quality picture tho.

I appreciate the help guys, i really do, i decided to change the wanted size to a 24" because 26" isn't worth it at my price range.

I'm afraid that budget is a bit low for any 26" monitor at the moment, let alone a good one. You could have a look at the Iiyama ProLite E2710HD, but I don't know a lot about it. Do you not find 24" adequate? That would extend the range enormously for your budget.

Edit: Somebody beat me to it with the Iiyama :p Looks like your best bet given that review.

which 24" would you recommend?

^^

I bought the Acer S243HL and sent it back as it was awful. I replaced it with an Iiyama 27" which was far superior in every way.

Sweet, thank you guys for the very quick replies, (even the community here is responsive), i decided to go with the Iiyama ProLite E2710HDSD 27" Widescreen LCD Monitor.

I probably will not regret it thanks a lot guys 5 stars haha.

Mines the B2712HDS, but I think there is minimal difference, bar the connections and stand.

Had it just over a week and I'm very happy :)

i cant wait, i should have just brought it altogether with my hole system at the end of the month, i spose that would have saved on P&P but i want it now lol.
