it's subjective, I had 3 x 27" monitors at 1080p and didn't have an issue with them as I was sat a reasonable distance. If you sit close though, you will see pixels.

Slightly unrelated but something I struggle with, this seems stupidly expensive which I assume is just because it's 240Hz. Can anyone honestly (I mean, really honestly) tell the difference between say a 144Hz monitor and a 240Hz monitor? Surely you're going to need a 2080 TI just to even hit locked 240fps on the latest games.......at 1080p?

The 2080ti will be the card once someone has stock, the monitor is the last thing and I have no idea which to get.

I’ve looked at 1440p 165hz, 4K 144hz and 1080p 240hz

No idea

What are you using it for? Gaming?

If so I'd get a high refresh rate ultrawide, I swapped my 3 27's out for a 34" ultrawide and one 27" in portrait and it's much better for games, a lot more immersive.

Yes gaming but I’d like 34” 144hz

The predator 34XP looks decent or wait for these 200hz monitors from asus and Acer

It depends... First of all, to run 240hz you need 240fps in game (which not all games can reach even with newest hardware). For single player or non competetive games, the difference between 144hz and 240hz doesn't really matter much. But if you play esports titled games, then it's a bit different. Extra refresh rate gives more smoothness to the whole picture which helps to aim more accurate. And if you're playing against someone who doesn't have that refresh rate, you'll get slight advantage as the picture reaches your end faster.
