27 inch monitor. Do I go 2K or 4K?

Graphics design can certainly use the extra resolution.
Though with rather mid level size of 27" have to increase scaling or limit viewing distance to avoid text becoming really small.

As for myself that "2K" scam would be inexcusable:
I bought 2560x1600 Dell U3014 in December 2013 and 16:9 low screen 2560x1440 would be downgrade even for web surfing.

I miss 16:10 but those days are gone.

How you going to replace that Dell if it goes kaput?

Hopefully 100+Hz 4K models come finally into shops before that.
Well, maybe I would get lucky also in that.
Couple weeks ago found Nitro+ 6900 XT SE from one shop at price made looking cheap by current ones and near soem prices for 6800 XT.


I have to say I wouldn’t be surprised if 16:10 didn’t make a comeback at some point.
I think there have been recently some new office use aimed 60Hz 1920x1200 models.
