Well in the last month I briefly owned the BenQ and swiftly returned it for the 27 inch Samsung and I'm glad I did.
I'll explain. For me the 32 inch was just to big, your or others' uses may vary but my desk just wasn't deep enough for the BenQ to be useful as a desktop monitor - I was sitting at pretty much arm's length.
Secondly I just wasn't that impressed with the pixel density of the 32 inch, I just didn't see the drastic improvement i was hoping for over 1920x1080.
Now having said all that, the BenQ was technically a superb monitor. No dead pixels, no bleed and as it was VA no glow. Colours were spot on and blacks were pretty good for a VA panel.
For gaming it was really good. Played mostly Crysis 3 and Grid 2 for the few days I had it and had no complaints there.
As mentioned my main gripe was the sheer size of the unit and the pixel density. I was never really keen on having a multi monitor setup, I like to keep my office clean and sleek so one monitor is plenty. The downside of this is needing to find a monitor that can do it all.
The closest I have come to this is 27 inch 2560x1440 screens. I have owned a couple and as I said I purchased the S27D850 to replace the BenQ and I do love it. I've written on other threads about it but it just works for me. Colours are great, contrast is great and the pixel density is right on the sweet spot. No dead pixels or ANY bleed on my unit.
