Hi,

New to these forums. I'm looking for a monitor to use with my asus rog g751jt-t7115h (long story).

Anyway this laptop has an ips screen. This is something I'd like in the new screen. I will mainly be using this laptop to play low demand computer games and using it with my ps4.

As per title I would like a 28" monitor. (29" seem to wide in comparison to height), preferably ips. My budget is £300-£400. It seems as though as I'm playing low demand games I can prioritise quality over speed??? Am I right?

I've been looking online but have been swamped by all the different computer requirements for the monitors.

Thanks in advance.

I've looked at the asus mg279q.
Any good?
I don't want to be buying a monitor that is too specced up for my laptop when I could just buy a lower range one and get the same quality

Dell UltraSharp U2715H - 27" IPS LED Monitor - QHD should do for your budget. not many 28" around.
I am guessing your laptop has GTX 970M which doesn't make use of freesync tech and 144HZ of MG279Q is pointless for console gaming.

I never came across this when I was online. I seen other dell ultrasharps but were way out of my price range.
This looks ideal. Thanks very much!
