Hi welcome

What is the pc going to be used for ?

You open to Ryzen cpu's as well ? You can get more for your money that way.

Also do you need a monitor, mouse and keyboard ?

Hi Thank you for quick reply

PC will be used for "high-end" gaming and VR

Id much rather get the 9900k as iv had bad experiences in the past with AMD but if 9900k is outside my budget i would consider it.

I only need a tower no monitors or peripherals

Top end of your budget. Things can be changed around of course if you want to make it cheaper.

No doubt you will get a few more options when other people see the thread.

No problem.

Thought you might have had some more replies by now, but it is Saturday so a lot of folk might be out etc. I will tag @orbitalwalsh just in case he somehow misses this thread as he is more clued up on 'VR' than me.

You've pretty much spanked it right there.

If @Odnum you haven't got a monitor , RTX 2070 or gtx 1080ti and 1440p 144hz G-sync monitor !

Without breaking the bank but damn good quality and high FPS at 1440p

Or with a 2080ti
