Had a quick search around but my google skills have failed me.
Thinking of doing a 3 x 1080p monitor setup for Eyefinity/Surround gaming but i'm stumped for choice. I currently have a GTX 780 and willing to change to 290's since they are cheap.

My questions are:

Shall I sell my 780 and purchase 2 x 290's?
Does micro stutter exist anymore?
Performance/smoothness wise, which is better?
I have 2 x S23A700D (D-DVI) and S23A750D (DP) - would this work with the 780 @ 120hz?

Cheers.

Thanks for the feedback. Since we have some Nvidia users here, can any of you confirm that sli works in windowed mode or not? Some people say it does and some says it doesn't.

My recent benchmarking has showed my current 290X to be noticeably quicker than my old GTX780 @ 1200/6800 in terms of raw framerate (specifically the minimums). That said I certainly wouldn't switch from a decent clocking 780 to a 290/290X especially if you already have the 780 and are looking at going dual cards.

Even if selling the 780 and getting 2 x 290ps works out cheaper?
