Interesting... price increase with only 7 left in stock. Currently £182.11.

Think I'll get a x1950xt 256mb or 1900xt 512mb to tide me over instead. Getting to rich to make it worthwhile now for the 2900pro. £150-£165 and we are talking deal, not now though.

Oh well.

Are you expecting that these cards be given away?

The prices for the 2900Pro cards compared to their performance are great as far as i am concerned. Cant wait for my card. :)

Oh & you can get the Sapphire 2900Pro for £176.24inc vat.:D

? The price has gone up on OCUK to £182, that's what I was referring to. I can't discuss prices of anywhere else as that is against forum rules.

Yes I know it's still a good price/performance, but I am merely saying for 'me', over £165 isn't really what I was hoping for :(

EDIT: Hadn't noticed the Sapphires were in stock however for £176 ish lol.

What's better out of the 2 pro's?. I noticed Rackers didn't get a great clock from his Sapphire 2900XT so it was making me lean towards the HIS one for £5 dearer. Should it matter?.

Scougar, they are probably that limited that they will sell faster and gain in price rather than the usual process  (just a thought).

3 weeks eek lol. I doubt they will be all sold out in 3 weeks just because they are EOL at that point.

This is a bit like the limited edition 7800 gs+ with 24 pipes sage. Hardly any released but increased in price rapidly. Unlike that though, this doesn't have any extra features or anything special apart from it's cheaper! lol

They wont all be sold out probably, depends how many were made, and if these guys can get anymore stock, if not the price will increase the less they get, its the way it goes. :)

Why would you want one?

Why not, your getting an XT at a steal of a price, absolute bargain that.

I dont see the point of getting a Pro when you have an XP? unless you can crossfire a Pro with an XT then it seems like a good thing to do since you can down clock the XT's if the Pro dont overclock, then you'll have some awsome performance either way.

They are a steal. ATI said they were only making a few thousand so may be sold out soon.

everybody who has one gets it to xt speeds at least.

Bang for bucks there isn't a better card out there. End of story.

And if I didn;t have a 8800 GTS I would be buying one too.

Mine tops out at 820 core but I'm happy enough with an overclock to stock XT speed and that I paid £170 from OCUK when they arrived.

Other web vendors were listing at £150 but now they have stock the price has gone up to match OCUK so looks like these weren't carrying a premium.

Great card for the price. At XT speed I get approx 9000 in 3dmark06 with 8xAA and 16xAF

Cooler isn't that loud, card tops out at 75C in ATI artifact test but doesn't hit above 70 in general gaming... fan runs at around 38% though I did read these had a vcore of 1.2v vs 1.4v in the XT..... if that's true, hopefully there will be a volt mod.

Hi there

This is one of those occaisons where the pre-order price was the best price. Congratulations to those who ordered the card on pre-order as you got a better price.

Fact is this card is very rare, only OcUK has Sapphire and HIS in stock. There are some PowerColor cards floating about in the UK but literally on about 50pcs, thats how rare these cards are.

The prices have increased because we clearly priced them to low and hence why the HIS sold so quick, the prices off these cards are very unlikely to drop and more likely to continue increasing.......
