2900XT holding it's own in new tests

Well, on the averages, the 2900 XT seems to get an entire 1FPS advantage over the 3870 XT... Now considering the 3870 XT is much, much cheaper and doesn't consume nearly the same amount of power...

Half a frame more, and stuggles more than the 3870 when AA is applied (although both get a large hit).

I'd not go back to my 2900XT after having the 3870's.

What kind of effect does have a pair in Crossfire have when you apply AA? Is the hit still severe or offset by having a pair of cards?

We are overclockers...the 2900XT isn't that great for overclocking unless you have a very beefy power supply and very good cooling...and the crazy fast memory bandwidth doesn't seem to give it too much of an edge over the 38xx.

I'd much rather have a 3870xt or 3850
