2FA app lost restore codes

Hi all apologies if this is not the right place to ask but irl friend a forum member, changed his mobile number and didn't save his 2fa app back up codes.

He's sent in a ticket a few days ago now but had had no response.

Is there any specific way to go about getting the 2fa removed on his account so he can log in and set it up again?

If you could get your friend to create a temporary second account and post in the following section:

https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/community/forum-content-discussion.164/

Once your friend has provided relevant information, an admin will be able to remove the 2fa on the original account and ban the temporary account
