How would this work with sites where I already have 2FA enabled and set up through Google authenticator - Would I need to disable and re-enable it?

Yes, you would need to update the 2FA to use 1Password. It’s worth it as when your 2FA is no longer tied to a device.
I have had 1password for awhile but I have only started using it properly since the last iOS update before then having a silly length strong password for every site was a pain in the bottom because logging in on mobile was tedious.
I have 2FA enabled where it makes sense but not everywhere (email, banking, PayPal, steam etc.). There normally has to be some money or value involved. Not fussed by things like Forums or Facebook etc.
