2gb -> 4gb (need to reformat?)

can I just go from 2gb -> 4gb without the need to reformat? I'll be using xp 32 and vista ultimate on dual boot. Or does it screw up the page file?

Check the BIOS settings to make sure that your mobo is seeing the extra ram aswell
