I have just finsihed my first build:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4400+ (Socket 939) - Retail (ADA4400CDBOX) (CP-127-AM)
Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro CPU Cooler (Socket 754/939/940) (FG-000-AR)
DFI LanParty UT NF4 Ultra-D (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard (MB-014-DF)
OCZ 2GB (2 x 1GB) PC3200 Dual Channel Platinum Series EL-DDR CAS2 (OCZ4002048ELDCPE-K) (MY-057-OC)
PowerColor ATI Radeon X1900 XT-X 512MB GDDR3 AVIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-059-PC)
Hitachi Deskstar T7K250 NCQ 250GB SATA-II 8MB Cache - OEM (0A31636) (HD-002-HI)
Pioneer DVR-111DBK 16 x 16 DVD±RW Dual Layer ReWriter - (Black) OEM (CD-038-PO)
Thermaltake VA3000BNA Tsunami Dream SuperMidi Aluminium Tower - Black (CA-012-TT)
Tagan TG530-U15 530W ATX2.01 Easycon SLi Compliant Modular Silent PSU (CA-008-TG)
Logitech G5 Gaming-Grade Laser Mouse (KB-069-LG)
Icemat - Black 2nd Edition (GS-001-IC)

(laugh at the icemat+laser mouse later)

1. The system won't boot in dual channel.
2. Each 1 gb stick will allow boot in top orange slot.
3. Both sticks give a clean memtest.
4. I have flashed the bios to the lastest version.

Memtest gives one stick as CAS: 2-3-2-5 and the other as CAS:2.5-3-2-5

Is this going to be an issue getting dual channel working?

PS. Thanks to Monstermunch for loads of spec advice and Tappits for the amazing build manual : http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17562386

Thanks guys, I could have spent an age trying to get these sticks working. I have RMA'd them. Luckly I had a 1gb stick of 3200 in another machine so I can still enjoy my blistering rig!
