Basically im looking to get a new pc, accountant said i can get a computer if its £2k or more on a single purchase and still claim the vat back (im a limited company on a flat rate VAT scheme which works quite nicely seeing as i have no expenses bar fuel/occasional accom)
First ill ask the ocuk question.
Would ocuk be able to supply me with 2 invoices? 1 for me with a breakdown of each part bought incase of rma etc, and a seperate VAT invoice as if the pc was supplied in one piece for the total amount?
Anyway, i want a 24" screen, quad core (i encode as well as game), decent gfx card for gaming, recently got my mate a 280 and that burns through crysis on his 19" monitor, will it do the same at 1920*1200 res? or am i better going with issues that the 4870 X2 brings for the added speed it offers
This is what i was thinking:
undecided on monitor, not sure i trust the dell 2408 with all the issues people have been having, basically want to use this computer for games, internet and movies so a bit of everything, minmal ghosting and lag would be ideal if possible with a mint picture
I know the psu is overkill, but i have a OCZ 520 psu from back in the day and its rock solid, it blew up when i first got it, had a new replacment within the week which imo is excellent service, plus i wanted modular so this fitted hte bill even tho its slightly OTT
already have a mouse and speakers and good ole audigy 2 zs sound card ill be keeping from my current pc
Was thinking raid the 320gb's, and the 1TB for storage
edit: add a copy of vista on there too
Any advice? mainly monitor advice here
