Hi Guys

I'm looking to upgrade some components, I need a GPU, Mobo, CPU, RAM and an NVME M.2 SSD

Ideally I'd like to keep with Intel for stability - I do 4K video work as well so would need something punchy. I'm thinking a 2080ti along with an Intel 9th gen - this would all be watercooled as my current rig has twin 280mm rads fitted in a push pull config.

I mean thats a pretty healthy budget and if you don't need a display even better.

Put together a link from ocuk probably easier and have people give you tips on what is better?

I don't know what you mean regards stability though. I went from intel to amd and never had any issues.

I would keep an eye on Zen 2 from amd though especially if you do intensive tasks all those threads and cores for less money? Sounds like a win for me.

Cheers bud, yep it's literally just the core components being refreshed as I update everything else yearly. The case is ample for room! Stability wise I always found AMD to be flakey but haven't used them for a few years now. I'm currently rocking a Founders edition 1080, 4790k and the Asus Sabretooth Mark S mobo so it's definitely a worthy time to upgrade!

Yeah i was hesitant coming from 6600k and 1070 but i found after a new monitor 3440x1440 the cpu was the bottleneck at that res otherwise i wouldn't of bothered as 60-70fps 1440p was fine. In your case that is a decent rig what do you get from it in terms of res and fps? If its enough for you then is it worth upgrading?

Like i say if i didn't go with a new monitor i wouldn't of bothered. £2.5k lighter now lol.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £2,015.01 (includes shipping: £11.10)

best Z390 motherboard out there in terms of design and function - even cheaper Aorus models like Elite can handle 5ghz all core overclock running AVX workloads.

Gaming OC has 4 yr warranty , and like the Mobo, all based in UK

Gigabyte dont mind cooler removal for waterblocks but as reps have mentioned ( @GIGA-Man ) , dont damage the cooler or card physically when doing so is its technically not official, they just dont use warranty screw stickers

If its version 1.0 then runs reference board and can have stock FE waterblock thrown on :)

8 packs ram as its on sale, and fast ! or can be overclocked high!

saving cash on board, pushing 32GB for 4k video editing and 500GB Nvme
