2k gaming rig

with the monitor I want the high res 1920 just isnt enough haha, and yeah colour/contrast/dark etc all important for the video work and the bigger the screen area is better for the music. 27/28" is perfectly big enough so as long as its that size the picture quality and resI olution are what matters, as well as the low 1ms refresh rate etc. I thought the 28 TN is IPS or at least that it was it is claiming in its description.

I'm not saying your wrong and quite probably I will go for the better image on the smaller 27" however looking at the figures they have put out then they are same apart from the 1ms response time compared to 4ms and its running an 8bit panel compared to a 10bit panel. given that probably would be a better quality image from the smaller screen its will that 4ms be noticeable enough. quality of the picture with that high res are definitely important

I was more thinking of when creating movies the speech matches the mouths haha the gaming I wasn't thinking too much about with the monitor as I could use a smaller 24" second screen better for gaming but I doubt it would be that much of a difference for my gaming haha.
so basically the only difference comparing the numbers is the response time. I'll probably end up going for the slightly smaller 27" as I imagine the image quality is higher on a smaller screen of the same ratios of colour and contrast while keeping the high res.
I dont think its ocuk to be at fault it will be the advertising material that is sent from acer which is why it probably has a * after IPS as its probably the material for the whole predator range which includes IPS but not this one specific model. misleading advertising by acer tbh

it probably would, but I doubt I'd find using either a 27 or 28 at 60hz for my use would warrant getting a second screen but its an option and yes a 24" 144hz screen or 2 would be a nice touch
