2K Spec Check - I'm here to learn!

Get some pics up so that we can rip your cable management skills to bits :p:D

 I'll get some up tonight. Only wires really all over the place are fan wires from the case fans / my cooler. When the side panels gets put on I'm sure it will hide most of the bulk coming out of the cable management.

When I inserted my graphics card, it's up and working... but it slighty starts to dip towards the end? Is this just because of how heavy the card is and there is nothing to support that end? Should I be worried?

Sorry guys, pictures are a little delayed. Had an issue last night with temps when testing. Lucky for me my mate is amazing and always on hand. I wouldn't have known any better but he noticed while testing with Intel Burn Test / Prime95, the temps would be reaching very high 90's! Volts would also be 1.4v @ 4.4GHz! He said this isn't right so after some work, trying different things, he showed me how to update the BIOS. As soon as this was complete the temps just dropped. IBT / Prime was showing we was now hitting 1.2v @4.4GHz and the temps would be hitting a maximum of 75 under full load.

Does this sound about right now?

When idle the temps is sticking around 20's. This was part of a reply early on to this thread:

Coolers make a big difference to temps and noise. The stock coolers will probably (allow the CPU to) hit 80C during load easily. The one stupid specced would probably only get to 60C (at stock clocks) and with less noise. At 80c the stock cooler is quite loud.

Does this mean my cooler isn't working as intended by reaching 75 and should be performing better? either way I'm guessing 75 is still pretty good.

Go ahead then :D

I don't think I did too badly! The wires for the fans I couldn't route around the back as they didn't seem long enough.

Ok so I hope somebody can help me.

PC runs fine, I sometimes randomly get freezes (only happened around 3 times, not on all games either. Twice on WoW and once on HoTS) which sort themselves out within a minute or so. this hasn't happened very often though. Seems to be only when I'm gaming too, my friend told me he had issues with freezing too but that was something due to the volts for the GPU or something.

Note that my CPU auto overclocks itself to 4.4 and my GPU also overclocks itself.

My other issue is my Toshiba HardDrive. Sometimes it just seems to randomly make a loud chirp. I removed my BR player as I thought maybe that it was malfunctioning due to being years old. The problem still remained though. The sound comes from near the front of the case, my SSD is around the back of the case and the only things around that area are the HD which was in the section below the BluRay player.

Is there any programs I can run to see if the drive has any issues?

CrystalDiskInfo
HD Tune Pro (trial)
SeaTools for Windows

I'd also recommend unplugging the Sata data and power cables from the drive and the mobo, and plugging them in again firmly, just to be sure.
