ALLI said:You think? It's a wise gamble. I'm not going to lose out but I could win one of the 2 million pound monthly prizes or part of the 1 million pounds worth of other prizes. what makes you think I have virtually no chance of getting £50? I have 2000 chances per month of winning.
Converesely I probably have more chance of predicting the winning lotto numbers 5 weeks in a row, but as some wise man once said, "You have to be in it to win it".
Don't worry, as soon as I've won, you guys will be the first to know
You'd be better putting the money in an ISA and spending the £80 interest on lottery tickets. Both would be stupid incidentally, but the lottery has better odds.
What makes me think you have virtually no chance? Because I worked out the odds a while back, when there was a thread on Premium Bonds. It's a poor gamble but as I say, it is your money. Don't be under any illusions that it isn't pure gambling though, or that it is a 'free' gamble which isn't costing you anything. It is: £80 a year, or £6.66 a month - and the odds are ridiculously poor.
