2nd half !

Awful 1st half of year.

Infact things have been poor since 2008.

Things are going to get much better.

1st half of 2009 applied for army, 2nd half of 2009 passed all the selection, obviously later this year I start so my life is about to return to being amazing. Real money doing something I know i will love.

Finally moving away from student life next month, moving back home for a month to chill and do nothing, then start basic in october.

I've been a non student living with students this year (good mates) but not being able to find full time work to cover myself for a year I've been super skint scraping money for rent bills council tax etc from a really crap part time job, whilst all my mates get loans (I didn't realise how good those loans were)

So a year of lows ending with hopefully highs!

God damn appalling, started okay I guess.
Failed my network plus exam by 5%. Then in the last month I got shifted roles where i work cos the person I replaced is too rude to be there. However he now does my old role. Go figure.
Then a week or so after that to really add the icing on my **** cake my gf left me..... only she's not sure what she wants and cos I'm loyal and love her I'm stuck in limbo.
Oh yeah did I mention the two of us have a wedding to go to next week, old old friends of mine who wanted to meet the girl I've always talked about.
Quite frankly there are only a couple ways it could get worse.

Fully star out swearing.

Oops I apologise.

Pretty crap really found out some bad medical issues that will get worse over the next few years. Few other issues and so on. Got college starting in September so thats something to look forward to.

I hate milestones like this, makes me feel like I have one foot in the grave and that I haven't accomplished anything worthwhile.

So far this year I've done my GCSE's and did my D of E silver, that's about it :(

I'm really really really (yes I needed to say it three times) hoping to make some progress on the projects I've been working on.

They say that good things come to those who wait, and I've been waiting for so long.

It started off pretty crappy but has progressively got better as my therapy and medication are succeeding! \o/ plus my birthday is in two weeks it certainly has flown by! :D

Not bad, it's flown by really, nothing spectacular occured and nothing drastic either

Very very soon though something spectacular will occur :D

It was going great and then at the end of Feb to the total amazement of all my colleagues and 2 Managers, I was told my contract wouldn't be renewed and I'd got a month left.
I was quickly offered 3 other jobs and chose the Clinical Governance one.
I then had the most amazing holiday in Egypt doing a 7 day Nile cruise (with tours), 3 days in Cairo, going inside the Great Pyramid, 5 days in Hurghada and then the volcano gave us an extra week in Luxor where I did more trips.
Came back one week late to my new job which is an eye opener.
My 'other' band is going well after a couple of practises and 2 weeks ago I did the Potters Arf marathon.
I finally built my dream 'home gym' in the back garden and spend an hour in it every night.
This saturday my main band headlines to 3000 people so life has been up and down this first 6 months.

Nothing special for me so far, could end very badly if end up being made redundant with all these public sector cuts though :(

Well i've been employed for the whole of the year, which can't be said for all of the end of last year. I passed my 6 month probation at work, and other than the slightly hellish commute, I am really enjoying my job. (fingers crossed I can keep it with all the cuts)

Still slightly wrecked from last weeks trip to Glasto but really enjoyed my first festival experience. Would like to not be still back living with the parents but am focused on the fact that I am paying off my debt a heck of a lock quicker than I would be otherwise.

Slightly nervous about the next couple of weeks because I am having an operation on Tuesday, so will be off my feet for a couple of weeks, and having had the same operation 4 years ago, I know how much its going to hurt. :(

I think that's about it. Looking forward to the start of the football season again in a month as well! :)

Really crap year, sadly. Last half of last year and this first half of 2010 have been utter gash. A couple of reasons why it might get considerably better in the near future, hopefully they will come up.

Otherwise I'll just keep plugging away, ups and downs happen to us all.
