2nd hard disk

How do you retrieve files on an old hard disk, when the old disk used w98 and current boot up is xp ?

Just pop it in as a slave drive, and copy the files from it.

If it is an IDE HDD then you will need to change the jumpers on the back first. There should be a little graphic that shows you how to set it.

or the easiet and quick was is to use a usb 2 enclosure maybe your freind has one you can borrow save you opening up the pc
