2nd HDD Query - Need help asap

Ok just plugged my 2nd HDD in (Seagate 300GB SATA) and am in Disk management. I have initilised the drive and am now on the wizard to create a partition and format it.

So the simple question is do i want a primary partition or an extended partition for this drive?

My main drive is a raptor and this drive will be my downloads, data etc, so all of the 300GB is going to be one partition.

it wont be a partition if you want all the drive as 1 300GB segment so it will just be a primary drive with your raptor as a boot drive.

if im wrong im sure someone will correct me tho
