Hi, I recently posted about an issue with my MSI Bravo 15 and have just got it back from MSI's repair with anew mainboard installed. I turned it on everything seems to be working just fine...

Apart from...

I bought a second M.2 ssd 1tb Crucial but the laptop is not detecting the 1tb drive only the 256gb boot drive. Given both the mainboard and Drive are both new I've tried reseating but still not detecting it.

Any suggestions much appreciated

I tried swapping the drives over between the two slots, with both in it boots to the 256GB and still doesn't see the 1TB and with the 1TB alone it just sits the "Cecking for media" presumably looking for a drive to boot from. So I know the slot is not the issue it must be the drive right? When I first put the second stick of RAM in it didn't see it for a little while then after a restart or two it was there being used but that obviously isn't the same case here.

Have you checked to see if its seen in the bios and have you set it up in windows through devce manager to initalize the drive

Have you got access to another PC to test the drive in?
