I want to build another Pc I can keep my ssd and hd from previous pc but everything else I think needs to go

Current
I5 4670k
8gb ram
280x msi
Gigabyte z97 dh3
600w semi mod psu

I want a bigger better looking case with good cable management ideally i7 and good gpu

I'm going to be doing video editing and gaming and would like to keep this build for at least 2years before upgrading it

Any suggestions would be great thanks

What PSU do you have?

Are you keeping the GFX card also?

Have you considered just dropping more RAM+i7 into your current motherboard/ or would you just like to skip that and go straight for the new spec suggestion?

Why wont your card be any good? are you going to be gaming at higher resolutions? the 280X is still a capable 1080P card.

This the motherboard, the HD3 yeah? http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-497-GI&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=2811

If it is, it's supposed to be crossfire capable....

Or is it the micro-ATX DS3H? http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-500-GI&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=2811

If it is that one or one i can't find here and is not crossfire capable, would you consider getting a new motherboard that will take 2 GPU's instead of getting a whole new PC?

*i can't find a Gigabyte Z97 DH3, can find a D3H though and that has Multi-gpu support. http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4961#ov

That's the one sorry i was under the impression it couldn't

Then you could get a nice new case, an i7-k and 16GB of fast ram as Stulid suggested for now and later on, like a year or so get a newer tech gpu?

The 280X is a pretty good card, unless you have the upgrade itch :D

What sort of case would you prefer, flashy or understated, or maybe something inbetween like this?

NZXT Source 340 Midi-Tower Case £60 http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-152-NX&groupid=2362&catid=35

Or maybe this?

Antec P100 Mid Tower Silenced Computing Case £63 http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-214-AN&groupid=2362&catid=160

Or a very flashy case.

Phanteks Enthoo Pro Mid Tower Enthusiast Case £90 http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-016-PT&groupid=2362&catid=2674

NZXT Phantom Enthusiast USB3.0 Full Tower Case £105 http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-034-NX&groupid=2362&catid=35

If you are set on a new gpu, it might be an idea to wait a bit as AMD are supposed to be releasing newer ones in a few months, sometime in June or July, i think. Then you can compare the offerings and prices from the Red and Green Teams and get the most for your money. My 2p.
