2nd SATA Drive info

I am just about to install a 2nd SATA hard drive in my pc (See spec in sig). Do i just plug in the 2nd hard drive SATA cable into the 2nd Sata connector on the mobo? Is that all, and then format it? I want to use it as the slave. Thanks

What about formatting it? Will windows see it and i will be able to format through windows or do i need to do it outside windows?

Nope, just go into Disk Managment (Right cick My Computer --> Manage) and everything can be done in their.
