What were your drops like. Was paying about £1500 for the mondeo 2.0 ghia @ 20 TPFT

This year 21 with 1 years ncb £650.

could have even got it just below £600 without legal cover and a humungeous excess if stolen (£100 with current was £1000 :O )

Cars off the road for a weeked though, as muppet here thought insurance ended on the 16th when it was the 13th :(

£440 for my first year, aged 21 on my 92 Clio 1.2, then £225 for the second year. Don't think I'll get it that low for while again though.

You should always aim to keep your insurance premium the same - therefore, if you get a massive drop it's only right that you should upgrade to a faster car :D

First year was quoted at £2k  (17, 0NCB).
That was brought down to £1600 with pass plus.

Second year was £900 (18, 1NCB).

Third year was £640 (19, 2NCB).

Excellent logic! :)

Liking the logic fox :p

£1600 at 21 with 0 NCB - Directline
£870 at 22 with 1 NCB - Greenflag
£620 at 23 with 2 NCB - Chris Knott

The first year was bad as I could only find about 3 companies who would actually GIVE me a quote! The rest said I had to be 25 or have at least 1 NCB.
