I got to the checkout but couldn't choose a delivery date. I ended up using Firebug to get it entered in manually. Still missed out though.

Ah well, don't know why all of these people are complaining though, what did they expect?

It seems if you managed to get it into your shopping cart, it should have 'reserved' it for you? Because it took me a good 10minutes to load the checkout page but it still went through alright in the end.

20mb line here btw (although I don't think it matters ... just quick with hammering ctrl+F5 ;) )
 
Well I ended up confirming an out of stock order... Didn't notice until I'd already clicked confirm. No idea what happens now.

Edit: Turns out it failed. They can stick the Hitachi.
 
So annoying...dont understand how people did it...I had 2 pc's going through 2 providers and still didnt get the product page...

LOL epic web server fail. Only managed to get to the secure code screen once and it failed to show the entry form. Every other attempt ended up with timeouts and then the page saying "Done" when it was still blank. That's not routing, that's an overloaded web server failing due to too many requests.

Think this could backfire on OcUK from a marketing point of view tbh as a lot of new customers who came here purely for this offer are going to go away very annoyed and unlikely to come back.

Hey ho, will just wait until they fall to this price generally :)
 
500 page errors. screwed up order pages, no free delivery option.

thanks for nothing. next time i think the hamsters should be fed mdma or something before another offer like this!
 
Very, very poor.

Had it in the basket, but the very last page of checkout failed to load. Repeatedly.

Won't bother next time - I've got better things to do with my life.

fact that the servers clearly were not up to the job so it was more pot luck than first come first served
 
i put it in my basket, click checkout and all i get is blank screen over and over, why did it let me put it in basket and then mess up.

even clicking on my account gives me black page.

very poor.

That was unfair!!!

I managed to order one, but in the process of checking out, the O/C website delayed the process. By the time I got to verifying my credit card I was told they'd all been sold!

Well i knew there would be a rush on them, but if OCUK are gonna do stuff like this, they should atleast make sure the site can handle it, i can't even load the site 15 mins later.
