I'll have i72600k OC'd , 8gb DDR3 RAm and CF sapphire 6950 2GB TOXIC

I currently have a 22''and 23 '' monitor side by side, dual screen is a must for me,

Would people recommend getting 2 27'' monitors , or 3 24'' monitors for eyefinity, I plan to use only one screen for BF3 so i can get highest specs etc. but would use eyefinity for lower spec games life CSS, TF2

At the moment im leaning towards 2 27'' but.. shouuld i spend more and get the LED instead of LCD, thanks

if you're only going to use one screen for BF3 and that'll be the main game you play, you should get the best single screen you can and with the two 27" screens, you'll have better quality and a bigger screen to play on.

go for 2560! :-P

led is a gimmick if I understand it. I prefer ccfl, think its more for power saving.

if you can get a 1920x1200 I think that's better for games but 1080 is preferable for tv/films.. Personal preference tbh

As an eyefinity user I would say don't bother with it and instead go for the 27" screens. Eyefinity is nice but two 27" (assuming you mean proper res ones, not 1080p) are going to look much nicer with one screen for games.

Looking at your above posts I would just get *one* 27" at proper res if the price of two is too much. You can always use one or two of your current monitors for additional productivity.

x2 to that, get a second really cheap smaller screen if you really want 2, my u2410 is expensive for a second screen that isn't used to its full potential

as in proper res i assume you mean get a 27'' 2560x1440 screen rather than 2 Iiyama 27'' full hd monitors? which would have 1920 x 1080 res

the issue i seem to notice is response time of 6ms on them,

Could people please recommend 27'' screens worth getting then, my budget was roughly 500 in total for the screen, but can go somewhat higher if needs be

I don't reckon you'll really notice the response times as a problem unless you're really used to CRTs. Most modern TFTs are pretty reasonable :)

edit: The Hazro 27" monitors have some relatively good feedback (and some bad).

The Hazro is supposed to be better for gaming due to lower response times. However, I doubt you'd have any problems with the Dell and their quality control and dead pixel policy is infinitely better (which is why you pay more).

I can get the dell for £450 just not sure if it's worth it just for gaming, thinking I would be better of getting a 120hz monitor

what I've been hearing about the dell is AG coating that makes image look crap? then the hazro seems to have QC issues and it seems like pot luck weather I'd get a decent model or not

Any other alternatives or suggestions

The Hanss G 27.5 is very decent and cheap, I'm happy with it and so are many other people on this forum. I considered the other more expensive models but the Hazro is too much hit and miss. I think we have to wait a bit to see any good 27" alternatives, which hopefully will come out at some point.
