Just a quick note on the ZR2440W. Some news websites have been erroneously reporting (as it isn't clear from the Press Release) that these are 1920 x 1080 monitors with a 16:9 aspect ratio. We have confirmed the correct specifications with HP and they are 1920 x 1200 16:10 parts. They are not the world's first 16:9 24" IPS monitors after all but instead will go head on to compete with the U2412M and hopefully better their predecessor the ZR24w.![]()
. I am still trying to get Dell to weigh up their options regarding a line of 'entertainment' oriented IPS monitors. I think there is plenty of call for them to specify to LG that they don't want that overly 'aggressive' anti-glare surface and to offer a 16:9 part in larger sizes than 23" for those who want it.
