I have 2x 970 Evo 1TB nvme drives installed on a taichi ultimate x470.
They are connected with Gen2x4 and Gen3x4 respectively.

my boot drive is an 850 pro and i also have 2x other 860 evo ssds connected but they are not used in windows ( linux dual boot ).

I perfomed a clean install of latest win 2004 and it has all updates and drivers ( afaik )

samsung magician shows both drives as latest firmwares 2b2qexe7

I've configured them using windows striped storage as raid 0.

Crytal mark still only shows 3200/2700 for Sequential r/w MB/s for the array.
What is confusing me is that device manager shows the two drives but has registered them as;

Model NVMe Samsung SSD 970 SCSI Disk Device
Model Samsung SSD 970 EVO 1TB

When performing the benchmark, I also note that the "SSD" hist 100% usage via task manager buthe "nvme" is only around 55%.

Is there anything else I can test ?

Gen2x4 can only deliver 2.0GB/s (theoretical), allowing for overheads around 1500MB/s is more likely

That was what I was thinking in the back of my mind, but hadnt read up on the numbers, so in effect, the raid0 is pointless on this board?
Might that account for the devices names too though, thats a little strange, no?
