Hi guys
Long story short, ordered a new sandybridge setup, got the Asus P8P67 PRO Intel P67 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard along with 2x Western Digital RE2 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache to setup in raid zero.
When i initially plugged everything in, the moment i switched on the pc, i heard a clicking noise from one of the HD's, sounded like a skipping sound, i wasnt able to find the HD in the bios, only the non clicking. so i scraped that plan and ordered a new one, just plugged it in again, and bam! clicking and skipping again.
Ive used the sata ports suggested in the manuel, now with the sandy bridge mobo problems and some unuseable ports incase of the flaw, im pretty sure im using the correct ports: ive tested the: intel p67 serial ata 6.0gbs connectors, and tried to use the: marvell satat 6.0 gbs connectors (as these were the ones suggested to be used in raid 0.
im assuming the issue is a borked hard drive?
Thanks for your time
