My friends Card reader is acting up. It has slots for various cards and a USB slot too. Now, the USB slot works fine, picks up whatever device is inserted and reads the info.
Now, the card reader doesn't pick up anything! In 'My Computer' it is showing the 4 or 5 slots but when he puts in any card it doesn't acknowledge the card and so can't read the info off of them. He has tried about 4 or 5 cards which work in his camera etc but not in the card reader!
He re-installed Vista thinking it was an OS provblem but still it is the same.
Should he buy a new 3.5 card reader?
